“480 Pixels- An Exhibition of BrooklynVegan‘s Music Photography” opened last night to a great reception by a large crowd at 92YTribeca in NYC. Thanks to all the people who came out! It was a pleasure to meet you all and to see so many friends. There’s been some great write ups about the exhibit by Time Out New York, The Gothamist Daily Newsletter and NYC The Official Guide. The show is running through September 6th so if you’re in the NYC area please go check it out. More information can be found here.
The two photos that I’m displaying in the exhibit (photo above and here) were chosen by the editors at BrooklynVegan. Both are signed exclusive editions of one and are in black wood frames with acid-free archival black matt board, acid-free foamcore backing and are professionally printed on gorgeous Kodak Endura Metallic paper. One photo is of High On Fire‘s Matt Pike tuning his guitar by ear (literally) that was taken backstage on March 16, 2012 at SXSW Music Festival at Scoot Inn in Austin, TX and measures 20″ x 28″. The other is of Pentagram’s Bobby Liebling pointing down the lens of my camera taken August 21, 2011 at Le Poisson Rouge, NYC. The Matt Pike print is $250, the Bobby Liebling is $225 and 30% of the sale goes to a good cause, the 92YTribeca charity. If you’re interesting in purchasing one contact me right away to reserve it. If you’d like to purchase both I will discount it to $425 saving you $50. Please contact me here.

On August 11th I photographed The Security Project at B.B. King Blues Club & Grill in Times Square, NYC. Photos from the show will be published shortly by BrooklynVegan.
