Reggie Watts photos from August 26, 2012 at the Afro Punk Fest at Commodore John Barry Park in Brooklyn, NY are now online and available for purchase. These shots (along with Erykah Badu, Janelle Monae & Toro Y Moi photos from the same festival that still haven’t been posted) got passed over in the rush of shows I’ve been covering since last August and are finally being posted. View and buy them here or view on Flickr.

Here is a set of photos that never got published or posted and are finally seeing the light of day. On March 23, 2012 I photographed Mutilation Rites at The Acheron in Brooklyn, NY. As you can see by the shot above, these photos are fairly poor quality. I had just gotten my Canon 5D MKIII and wanted to try out the extreme ISO capabilities at The Acheron which is a fairly dark venue. As you can see ISO @ 25,600 is a total fail but I figured I’d post them anyway. All the photos can be viewed and purchased here or viewed on Flickr but, honestly, I don’t suggest buying them.

Here is a set of photos that never got published or posted and are finally seeing the light of day. On April 29, 2012 I photographed Marilyn Manson at The Paramount in Huntington, NY. Obviously, these photos are fairly mediocre. Marilyn Manson denied pro photographers on this tour so the only amazing thing about these shots is that I managed to sneak my gear passed the metal detectors. Unfortunately, by the time I got inside I was unable to get any closer than the photo you see above. All the photos can be viewed and purchased here or viewed on Flickr but, honestly, I don’t suggest buying them.

I’ll be uploading all the shots from this show (possibly including some that BrooklynVegan doesn’t use and all will be in higher resolution) to this site and my Flickr page on August 30th. (Delay is due to exclusivity rights.)
