On October 6th I photographed the Benefit For The John & Alice Coltrane Home At En Japanese Brasserie, NYC. Guest speakers at the event included Steve Fulgoni, Ron Stein, Carlos Santana and Dr. Cornel West. Special guests in attendance included Wynton Marsalis, Marcus Miller, Jimmy Heath, Roy Haynes and Elvis Costello and there was a musical performance by The Ravi Coltrane Quartet (photo above). Photos from the event along with my write up will be published by BrooklynVegan shortly.
I’ll be uploading all the shots from this show (possibly including some that BrooklynVegan doesn’t use and all will be in higher resolution) to this site and my Flickr page on October 20th. (Delay is due to exclusivity rights.) All photos will be available for purchase at that time and I will donate half of the profits from all sales directly to the Coltrane Home.
