“480 Pixels- An Exhibition of BrooklynVegan‘s Music Photography” opens Thursday at 6:30 PM at 92YTribeca in NYC and admission is free.  There will also be a ticketed concert featuring Screaming Females, Heliotropes, and Hunters starting at 8PM.  The exhibit will run from August 16 through September 6, 2012.

The two photos that I’m displaying in the exhibit (see here) were chosen by the editors at BrooklynVegan.  Both are signed exclusive editions of one and are in black wood frames with acid-free archival black matt board, acid-free foamcore backing and are professionally printed on gorgeous Kodak Endura Metallic paper.  One photo is of High On Fire’s Matt Pike tuning his guitar by ear (literally) that was taken backstage on March 16, 2012 at SXSW Music Festival at Scoot Inn in Austin, TX and measures 20″ x 28″.  The other is of Pentagram’s Bobby Liebling pointing down the lens of my camera taken August 21, 2011 at Le Poisson Rouge, NYC.  The Matt Pike print is $250, the Bobby Liebling is $225 and 30% of the sale goes to a good cause, the 92YTribeca charity.  If you’re interesting in purchasing one contact me right away to reserve it.  If you’d like to purchase both I will discount it to $425 saving you $50.  Please contact me here.

The exhibit will also feature work by Jessica Amaya, David Andrako, Ryan Barkan, Kurt Christensen, Devan Council, Greg Cristman (greg C photography), Tim Griffin, Amanda Hatfield, Leia Jospe, Chris La Putt, Samantha Marble, Keith Marlowe, Dominick Mastrangelo, Ryan Muir, Bao Nguyen, Fred Pessaro, Tamara Porras, Gabi Porter, Harriet Roberts, Toby Tenenbaum, Eric Townsend, Diana Wong, Dana (distortion) Yavin and Marissa Paternoster, lead singer and guitarist for Screaming Females.

More information including details about the opening night reception and concert can be found here.

There was an excellent write up in this week’s Time Out New York about the event (photo below) and an expanded article can be found here on their website.  Another article was published by The Gothamist Daily Newsletter that can be seen here.
